Mean ± standard deviation from 6 independent microarrays measuring the mean fluorescence from at least 6 spots for each microarray. Three MBs with different stems were assayed consisting of 40 (blue), 60 (red) and 100 (fuchsia) % GC content in their stem. Arrow indicates the time of target application to the microarrays.
